With such a busy weekend this week, our cyclones made sure the public knew what we were all about! On the evening of Thursday, September 1st our cadets were requested to do the flag raising at our home softball game versus Cañon City.
Friday, September, 2nd 2016, the following cadets attended the 17th annual Pigskin Classic with our district rival, The Pueblo County Hornets! Despite our defeat, (34-20) we had the honor to preform the pregame presentation of the colors in conjunction with the Hornet Battalion. Both of our teams performed a jaw dropping and outstanding display of national pride. In the photos below you will see Cyclone cadets, c/Lieutenant Colonel Serena Goodsell, c/Command Sergeant Major Xavier Mercer, c/First Sergeant Cianna Angel, c/Sergeant First Class Victoria Luke, and c/Sergeant First Class Matthew Zamora under the command of c/Major Joseph Uher.
The Cyclone Battalion Color Guard definitely knows how to put on a show and leave everyone amazed. Thank you to everyone that has attended our presentation and thank you to the parents of the cadets that have allowed them to do this humble and honoring event.
